Minimum stay

We require a minimum booking of 2 nights.

Group bookings

We are a family-friendly campsite and only take small family groups, not larger group bookings. This includes hen and stag parties.

Visitors

For security and safety, we cannot allow visitors onto the camping pitches.

Caravans and generators

Touring caravans and generators are not permitted on the campsite. Campervans and motorhomes up to 6m are welcome on Zone B pitches.

Awnings

Awnings are welcome alongside a campervan in Zone B, as long as everything fits within the 8m x 10m pitch.

Getting to the water

The water's edge is a short walk from the campsite. Swimming is only permitted as part of an organised Open Water Swimming session, and if you want to paddleboard or canoe you need to sign in at the Fishing Lodge first.

BBQs

Charcoal BBQs are welcome on the campsite, but they must not be disposable and must be raised off the ground. Day visitors to the reservoir cannot bring a BBQ.

Campfires

Campfires are not permitted. Open fires, fire pits and rope swings are all prohibited, and burning wood is banned to protect the surrounding ancient woodland.

Noise

A strict no-noise policy applies after 10pm. Music can be played quietly until then, and must be turned off afterwards.

Hook-ups and levellers

There are no electric hook-ups on the campsite. All pitches are slightly sloping, so please bring levellers, and chocks for campervans and motorhomes.

Tents per pitch

You can pitch as many tents as fit within your pitch, as long as everyone staying has been paid for on the booking.

Minimum age

All under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Arrivals

Check-in is 2pm to 6pm. Arriving later than 6pm? Please call us in advance on 07767 375115. The entrance gates close at 8pm, and late arrivals after 8pm will not be able to access the campsite.
