Mark your calendar for the annual Dragon Boat Race Festival at Bewl Water, returning to the reservoir on Saturday 31st August 2024.

The pirate shipwreck, an adventure playground at the heart of Bewl Water, encourages young explorers to climb, slide, and run free!

With climbing frames, a trim trail, a giant sandpit, and a huge slide, the playground is designed to boost agility, balance, memory, and concentration. Open from 8am – 5pm daily, it’s a fantastic free activity for children this summer.

14. Explore Ranger Bear’s Nature Trail

Join Ranger Bear on a nature trail adventure through the beautiful woodlands of Bewl Water! Choose between the free spotter sheet or the £3 sticker trail and collect your maps from the Waterfront Cafe before hunting for hidden clues amongst the local Kent wildlife.
