Winter Walks at Bewl Water

A wintery walk is exciting, as you embrace the crisp weather and head out to embrace the great outdoors all wrapped up, it’s a great feel good activity which will brighten up your day and keep little ones entertained.  Here’s some of our top reasons you and your close ones need to take a trip to Bewl Water this winter:

There’s something for everyone, whether you want a leisurely stroll or an energetic cycle ride the choice is all yours with the facilities we have at Bewl Water, including cycle hire. For little ones a nature trail is always fun especially with the nature and wildlife which comes out at this time of year!

Its great exercise– we all love to indulge in some hearty comforting meals as the days get cooler, so wrap on some layers afterwards and take a walk. You can even walk the whole reservoir and make a day of it (takes around 4-5 hours)!

Finish your walk with a delicious hot chocolate or snack in our Waterfront café, the perfect way to end a long winters walk- or if you’re hungry why not tuck into a delicious roast dinner in our Boat House Bistro, which is perched on the water’s edge, with a kids menu it’s the perfect way to unwind with the whole family!

This winter we have lots of exciting events at Bewl Water including our Christmas Experience which sees Santa and his helpful team of elves bringing lots of magic to the water. Children get to visit the festive grotto and get their gift from the man himself, before setting out on the Christmas Train to take part in the special treasure hunt. Book your tickets here!

We look forward to welcoming you to Bewl Water this winter.
