Calling all adrenaline junkies! Aqua Park is back – expect 3,000 square meters of unbridled excitement and get ready to slip, slide and splash headfirst into six weeks of pure inflatable fun!
Pumped up and ready for a scorcher of a summer, thrill-seekers can now live out their wipe out dreams as our floating obstacle course, dubbed the UK’s best Wibit outdoor aqua park, received the ultimate expansion in early 2021. The course, reminiscent of those used on popular shows like Total Wipeput, consists of the ice tower, an XXL action tower, springboard, the twist, a balance bar, flip mattress, cliff, monkey bars, aqua slide, dome, roundabout, halfpipe, hurdles, and lots more, making it a paradise for water park enthusiasts.
Where can I find you?
Bewl Water is home to the largest stretch of open water in the South East and is located on the Kent/Sussex boarder. Just off the A21, you can find us in Lamberhurst where you’ll be greeted with an 800-acre site of outstanding natural beauty. Think relaxing reservoir rambles, beautiful wildlife, and a host of fantastic fun for all ages, open all year round.
Who can visit the Aqua Park?
The best thing about our water wonderland is that it’s perfect for youngsters and big kids alike (we’re looking at you, dad). There are a couple of rules and regs, which we’ll go through now, but nevertheless the attraction is a sure hit amongst all ages. Children aged six to 12 must have either a parent or guardian accompanying them on the Aqua Park, and 13- to 16-year-olds can have their parent or guardian viewing from the shoreside. There are lifeguards always watching, so parents, feel free to grab a coffee and take it easy.
How can I book?
Like with all our activities here at Bewl, bookings can be made easily online, 24/7. But be sure to book in advance as we get extremely busy during the summer. Booking online will also save you a few pennies costing £21 per person, as opposed to £25 for bookings made on site. Sessions last 50 minutes and tickets include wetsuit and buoyancy vest hire.
All customers must be able to swim at least 50 metres (164 feet) unaided as the obstacle course promises unbridled energetic excitement – so don’t say we didn’t warn you! Turn up 45 minutes early to leave yourself enough time to get changed ready to watch the Safety Briefing prior to your session.
What about lunch?
After a fun-filled day packed with adrenaline-pumping obstacles, you’re going to need a little fuel. Head back over to the front of Bewl Water (just by the car park) where you’ll find our Waterfront café. Enjoy a selection of light meals, sweet and savoury snacks, ice creams and drinks whilst overlooking the water in this picture-perfect, dog-friendly spot. Note, the Waterfront café is open Monday – Friday 10am –3pm and Saturday – Sunday 10am – 4pm. Fancy bringing your own food? Fine by us! As one of the largest reservoirs in the UK with miles of beautiful woodland, there are plenty of picnic worthy patches to choose from.
