With breathtaking views of South East England’s largest reservoir, it’s the ultimate spot to kick back and refuel. Whether you’re in the mood for a freshly brewed coffee, a delicious hot chocolate, or a tasty treat, we’ve got you covered. From light snacks to hearty meals, there’s something for everyone — including lunch boxes for the little ones and plenty of ice cream to cool off!
Please note, the Waterfront Café is open every day from 9am to 4pm. However, hot food is only available from Wednesday to Sunday.
Dog-Friendly Days Out
The Waterfront Café welcomes your furry friends to join you while you enjoy the beautiful views of Bewl Water. We offer fresh water for your pup and tasty treats to keep them happy while you enjoy a delicious meal. It’s the perfect spot for a dog-friendly day out!
In partnership with Polygon Pets Ltd, we also have a self-service dog wash —ideal for keeping your pup clean after those muddy walks! We kindly ask that all dogs be kept on leads and are well-behaved when entering the café.
*Please note, for the safety of wildlife and our protected species, dogs are not allowed in the Nature Reserve, cannot swim in the reservoir or drink its water, and are not permitted in the children’s playground.
The Ice Cream Parlour
Cool off and treat the whole family at Bewl Water’s Ice Cream Parlour, open on sunny weekends and throughout half term from 11am to 5pm.
Enjoy fresh ice cream from Kelly’s of Cornwall, made with locally-produced milk and cream. Choose from delicious flavours like triple chocolate, cookies and cream, bubble gum, and vegan vanilla. For something extra refreshing, try a slushy or creamy milkshake!
We even have dog-friendly ice cream, so your furry friend can join in the fun too.
Located next to the Waterfront Café, the Ice Cream Parlour is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a sweet treat during your visit to Bewl Water.
