Bewl Water’s playground is undergoing a spring revamp!
Our Adventure outdoor play area is undergoing a spring revamp, and will be temporarily closed from the 2nd of March, with the area is set to reopen at the end of March, just in time for the April Easter holiday.
Our brand new adventure playground is set to include a brand new upper level to our Pirate ship, including climbing frames, trim trail, pirate helms and even a brand new slide!
Commenting on the temporary closure, Phil Daley, Operations Manager at Bewl Water, said. “Our beloved Bewl Water adventure playground is having a revamp this spring and will be closed for approximately three weeks whilst the work is carried out. Having been the place of choice for so many families to build memories for many years, we wanted to preserve and enhance this lovely space in time for the warmer season.”
The play area features an amazing range of timber structures and slides constructed around the Bewl Galleon and natural landscape challenging the most adventurous and imaginative minds. Bewl’s adventure playground has been designed to enhance learning by boosting agility, balance, memory and concentration. The Galleon telegraph system is not only great fun, but it also develops young explorers’ communication and teamwork skills.
During the part-closure of the outdoor play area, alternative spaces or activities for children at Bewl Water include a soft play area for children 0 – 6, open seven days a week and free to use, located in The Waterfront Café, which has a large terrace looking out over the water; or families with children from the age of six can now book one-hour slots to complete one of the Laser Tag Challenges via the website, including same-day bookings*, for just £15 per person.
